Recruitment Process
The work is divided into several stages:
- Dealing with our Ukrainian office
- Dealing with our Irish office.
- Dealing with a company with our help.
These three steps are to be taken by everyone who wants to find a job in Ireland via our company. As you already know, you don't need to pay us - the companies do it. We get paid for executive search (we get position specifications and submit suitable candidates for a project).
Recruiters
Imagine that a big company is going to employ a number of new employees (for example, to consolidate its dominance in the market by way of expanding). It researches the labor force market in the region. In case with Ireland, most specialists are already employed by other companies. The only way left - to outbid programmers (in particular, we are speaking of these professionals) from other companies. Accordingly, this can cause a considerable tension in the area of Information Technologies. The more reasonable way out is to invite the professionals from other countries with weaker economies. This method has more advantages over disadvantages, and it has a future because it works on a free-market principle. But it is very expensive to find a candidate out in the world (an advertisement campaign alone will cost a pretty penny). The HR department has a lot of work and working on a profile of a random candidate is very expensive and time-consuming. It is not easy to arrange an interview with a candidate, to see about visa process, arrange arrival to Ireland etc. All of this takes a lot of time, efforts and money.
Thus, recruiting agencies emerged.
First Stage
As soon as you have seen our ad and visited the website, we can start the process of your job placement in Ireland. For this you should send a resume (this document is the key element in our work, it contains a great amount of easy-to-analyze information about a specialist). Prior to sending your CV (this is another name for a resume), you should fill in your professionals application form (it enables us to process and sort key data quickly. A candidate's profile is built around the AF). These two documents are of particular importance.
Application Form
An application form is important for quick data search. On its basis, a specialist's profile is built, and if the application form has not been submitted, the file becomes lopsided and difficult to work with. Moreover, it denies the candidate to be shown on any search, which lessens the chance to participate in a project.
With the help of application forms quick search we can efficiently react to our new customers' requests and supply them with suitable candidates' CV's next morning. A candidate can update information on his application form. It is important to update information every once in a while to keep us up-to-date with your experience, thus allowing more chances for yourself to be selected for more projects.
Resume
However useful it is, we cannot submit an application form to an employer. A Resume or Curriculum Vitae (CV) is the type of document, which is submitted to an interested company.
There are good CV's and poor CV's. A correctly written CV, in which a candidate's specialization stands out clearly and the projects are described briefly yet with the necessary clarity, is a success deposit. In our work we use the sample that is taken for standard by many Irish companies.
If you passed a test or obtained a new qualification, learned a modern language or completed an interesting project - please take the time to add this info to the existing resume and send it to us. This will increase your chances to get a job quickly.
Candidates who don't find themselves suitable for a project at the moment shouldn't give up - our Irish office contacts more companies all the time and new projects emerge.
We normally receive CV's to the following e-mail box: profiles_cv@mail.ru or to other agency addresses, which were given to this person by another candidate. From our experience we can say it is not very often that we get a comprehensive and well-structured CV sent by a candidate the first time. In our opinion, resume composing is also a domain, in which experience and knowledge are needed. We send our CV sample to registered candidates if the content or form need to be improved. at once. After this step all further work is conducted depending on stage at the following e-mail addresses: interconsulting@fk.lutsk.ua and inter@fk.lutsk.ua.
Primary Selection
After we received your application form and a CV, we assess the data for suitability for our current projects. If your data matches one of them, we get in touch immediately, otherwise we process the data and place it into our database until such a project emerges. We arrange a telephone interview with suitable candidates.
First Interview with the Agency
A first interview is run by Valery Kashkarov, the manager for Interconsulting's CIS office. This interview is not difficult, a programmer is asked whether he is interested to proceed, the situation in Ireland economy is explained to him, he is told about the project, in which he can contest as a candidate. If the professional wants go on and he likes the conditions, offered by the company, the second part of the interview is run in English for testing purposes. Depending on the language test results and information provided by the candidate, decision on whether he is a good candidate for the interested company or there are some obstacles (weak English, some difficult family circumstances).
Interview with the Irish office
In Ireland there is our company-partner named Interconsulting Contract Services Ltd trading under PDA Services. Interconsulting and Interconsulting Contract Services Ltd are strategic partners, which work synchronously and as a single company. A representative of this company (normally the manager of the Irish office Tom Egan) runs the second interview by phone in case the first one was a success (usually it is so). This interview is rather a technical one. It is done for more in-depth experience and technical abilities analysis. The questions are about technical details of the projects, tools and technologies used etc. This interview is run on the basis of the resume you sent to us, and at the end the interviewer can make suggest how to make the CV more complete or better structured. The candidate can get answers to some of his questions during the interview. The interview is also a good practice of English with a native speaker. This is of particular importance as the Irish tend to speak very quickly, and even not every Englishman will be able to understand two Irishmen conversing with each other. However Tom Egan already has a big experience of interviewing foreign professionals. He doesn't speak very quickly until sure that everything he says is 100% understood. It gives the interlocutor a possibility to grasp the meaning, which is important for future interviews with employers.
If the interview went fine, we submit the CV of the candidate for consideration by a company. However before we do that we make sure that the CV reveals all of the experience the candidate has had, his career, projects and used technologies. At this stage a resume becomes easy to read.
