| A: | There are 2 visa types. They are called "Work Visa" and "Employment Visa".
The first one gives big advantages for programmers and sometimes is called "Harney Visa" by the name of the minister, who secured the realization of this program. The visa legalization takes no more that 5 weekdays, it is granted for 2 years and allows a specialist to change employers. Such visa is for professionals whom Ireland especially needs at the moment, and the professionals of IÒ sector head this list of 3 points.
The second visa type is processed over a period of 2 months and does not give a specialist the right of transition to other work. This visa is used 10 times less than the first type, as the companies want a new employee to start working as soon as possible.
